Wish List

In addition to generous donations of time, talent and resources, "material goods" donations are welcome and help us be more effective in our work.  Giving material help to new parents really speaks LOVE, support and encouragement.

Below are lists of items we currently need to enhance our capabilities in the office, as well as baby items which always need to be replenished and available for our new parents and babies. 

AWPC is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. All donations are deductible
on your Federal taxes to the extent permitted by law.

For parents and babies... 

  • Infant car seats (Please call the Center for specific requirements)
  • Cribs (Please call the Center for specific requirements)
  • Pac-n-Play portable cribs
  • Bottled Water, coffee (to serve clients and volunteers)
  • Diapers - Size: premie and newborn
  • Formula: All name brands - Similac & Enfamil  (Unfortunately doctors do not prescribe store brand!)
  • Winter clothing Size 12 month (boys and girls)
  • Highchairs

For the Center...

  • 2-Line cordless phone
  • External hard drive for back-up
  • Laptop with Windows XP for volunteers to create client write-ups, schedule appointments, etc.
  • Desk chair (adjustable height)
  • Clear plastic storage bins with lids for storing baby clothes in basement ( 12-15 gallon size)
  • Wardrobe or closet for hanging baby and maternity clothes
  • Pastel copy paper (pink, blue, light green, light yellow) We "color code" our required paper work.
  • Gift cards for office supplies from Office Max, Staples, Office Depot, etc.  Perhaps you're a "Rewards" customer and might consider donating your rewards check?
  • Heavy-Duty Plastic Shelving (available at Home Depot) - 5 shelf unit, 3' wide x 5' tall x 18" deep. Need three.
  • Three 4 packs of AA rechargable batteries for our phones, clocks and digital camera.  (We have a charger - but not the newer, fast speed charger.)
  • Literature racks in brochure, magazine, and letter size - wall mounted.
  • New or gently used cushions for wood rocker/glider to replace warn cushions.
  • Inkjet color copier for occasional printing on window envelopes. (Windows melt in our laser printer!)
  • Laminating machine
