Can you help?

God often calls those who are available, not necessarily those who feel qualified. Whatever your situation or talent may be, you can join AWPC’s team of people seeking to doing His will.  Following are just a few of AWPC’s current needs.  If you are feeling the Lord’s nudge to get involved and can support us in any of these areas, please email us or call our office for more details at 248.471.5858.

Our specific volunteer needs (dated Feb. 10, 2010)

Receptionists:

     Mondays: 10 - 2

     Tuesdays: 10 - 2

     Thursdays: 10 - 2

Counselors:

     Mondays: 10 - 2

     Tuesdays: 10 - 2

     Wednesdays: 10 - 2 &  1 - 4

     Thursdays: 10 - 2

Male Counselors for Man2Man Ministry:

Available every other week - either Monday or Thursday 6 - 9 p.m.  Must be available for training Friday, March 26th 10 am - 4 pm.

Data Entry:  3 - 4 hours per week during regular office hours.  You pick day. Data base experience a plus. 

Recycling Help:  Someone to come to the Center every two weeks to pick up our recycling.  Boxes and papers are biggest items.

Daytime...

We also need volunteers to fold and sort baby clothes on a weekly basis.

Occasional...

We always have room on our team for people we can contact from time to time for special projects like mailings, shredding papers, cleaning cupboards, etc.  We need a  team we can call on - knowing that avalability will vary.  Can we call on you?  

Prayer Warriors...

We need people who will PRAY for us on a regular basis.  Send us your email and we'll send you prayer requests and updates!

Church Liaisons...

Help us spread the word about AWPC at your church. Be our contact person when we have a news to distribute.  Be a point person for your church members who are interested in supporting our cause.
