When our pro-life values are challenged, and there's so much coming at us we don't know what we CAN do that will really make a difference -
Let me assure you - YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
As much as we dislike the Obama Administration’s position on abortion, he did have some creative ideas when it came to funding his presidential campaign. He literally raised millions of dollars by asking lots of every day ordinary people to do something to help “change America”. (He sure was serious about that statement, wasn’t he?)
Google and Yahoo ads offered free Obama Campaign Buttons, and when the reader clicked on the link, it asked for a $5.00 campaign donation to “Help Change America”.
Well it worked – on multiple levels.
…which is why we’re borrowing the idea with our “Give Life a Chance” campaign. In this difficult economy, many people can’t give to non-profits like they used to – not even to important prolife work.
Yet the value of human life doesn’t diminish with the slumping economy.
Unfortunately the abortion rate in Michigan is up…
So we call on pro-lifers in our community to do what they CAN do to assist those who work on the frontlines in this battle of protecting innocent human life. At Another Way Pregnancy Center, we offer free pregnancy tests, free lay counseling, free community referrals, free material goods. We offer encouragement, information and real HOPE for a living future. Beginning this month we are reaching out to fathers as well, with a handful of trained male counselors ready to encourage dads to give Life a chance and to be the best dads they can be! We also host “Healing Hearts” for those suffering from past abortion(s).
Our donors and volunteers make it all possible. Our doors are open today because of caring people like YOU.
No donation is too small. No prayer is unheard.
God is still in control and He still cares. He will make provisions – if we will do our part.
Please consider what you can do to help Give Life a Chance.
#1. Pray. Pray for our nation and our leaders. Pray for our churches and spiritual leaders. Pray to be made ready to be used by God in whatever way(s) He might use you to influence our culture for Christ!
#3. Support the ministries that the Lord puts on your heart, as He enables you. He IS at work - still - in our midst! He does want to provide for the work of His hands - but He calls us to be obedient to give! If Another Way Pregnancy Center is a ministry that God has put on your heart, please consider giving on a monthly basis through AWPC-DIRECT. For as little as $5.90 per month, you can help stabilize our monthly income so that more efforts can be focused on saving and improving lives and less time on fund raising! If just 1200 people committed to giving $5.90 per month - our entire operating budget would be raised! Imagine what we could do with our limited resources! Imagine the greater impact we could have in our community!
Some folks will be able to give more - and we are grateful! Last year we had a total of 487 people who gave $5.00 or more - so 1200 donors is a BIG goal! But we are intentional in being FAITHFUL TO ASK - and in setting an amount that most EVERY ONE can give.
"HOW do I get started?" Simply click on Donate Now (button to the right of your screen) and you will be directed to our secure Payments Gateway. You can give by credit card or by debit from your checking or savings account. (Debit cards should be entered as a credit card.) To give monthly, under the amount of your donation is an option for "Recurring Transaction". Selecting this option will allow you to select the frequency of your gift, the quantity or number of times you authorize the transaction, and the starting date of your transaction.
For example, if you decide to support us with a gift of $8.00 per month, you would select the frequency as monthly, enter the amount as 8.00, and the start date as the date you want the transaction to occur each month. If you want to give once per month for a year, you would enter 12 in the quantity box. *Note that you can cancel these transactions at any time simply by calling our office or mailing us a note.
Have Questions? You can call our office and we can walk you through the process, or we can enter the transaction for you. You will receive an acknowledgement for your gift by email - each and every time a transaction is made. Receipts will include a short update on what is happening at our Center, and how to contact us if you need to. You can also download a brochure with a tear off form here on the website and mail that back to us.
